Hallo allemaal,
Hierbij weer een korte update over Stichting Alona. Op 1 juni is Issay gestart met haar training op het gebied van web design & graphic design. Helaas hebben we dit keer minder nieuws. In eerste instantie kwam Issay ineens niet meer opdagen op het kantoor in Manilla. Onze contactpersoon schreef het volgende begin augustus:
We have a problem with Issay our current trainee. She stopped responding since August 6 of this month. Been trying to contact her for days on her mobile phone and via e-maail, but no reply. I will now attempt to contact her through the person who referred her to us to checked what’s happening. I am thinking she may be sick, but I am just giving her the benefit of the doubt right now.
Half augustus ontvingen
Just received news from her fiance. Apparently she is pregnant and is in bedrest due to her delicate pregnancy. But still, it’s not hard to at least reply to a message. I was concerned about her as well when she was not replying to me. Her fiance only replied back because I sent a message telling her that a delivery service guy will pick up the laptop in their residential address
Still, I sent them my regards for a safe and well pregnancy.
Inmiddels hebben we nu zo’n 8 kandidaten opgeleid en een beroep geleerd. Gelukkig is dit pas de eerste keer dat het niet succesvol is afgelopen. Hierdoor laten we ons uiteraard niet uit het veld slaan en we gaan snel op zoek naar een nieuwe kandidaat die deze kans wel weer met beide handen aangrijpt. Wordt weer vervolgd…
